Its alive!! well it was for about 10mins, the dizzy cap, rotor arm and plugs look like they were originally on the titanic and when i went to fit the new ones the bright spark behind the counter at eurocarparts had sold me the wrong ones, did sound pretty interesting for those 10mins though. Interested in the grill stari pm me the details

Re: Back on the Road for 2014
Result! its running again and properly this time, after trying nearly every fuel and electrical related part from the black pearl, I found that the banjo bolts on the supply and return lines had been fitted wrong swapped them over and she fired up spot on, also managed to sort the power steering-by putting fluid in it lol! just got sort the fuel pump housing and bolt it back up to the car, reconnect the clutch cable and sort the non existent rocker cover gasket then its mot time

Those wheels suit it down to the ground, far better than the usual BBS etc. in my opinion.

Re: Back on the Road for 2014
Managed to fix the blowing downpipe today and the fuel leak, turns out after trying to remove the downpipe it was actually where the manifold bolts to the head that was blowing. One stud was missing all the other nuts were loose and the icing on the cake all four gaskets were missing sounds so much better now. But for every good there is a bad went to try the wipers after fitting some aero blades and snapped the previously bodged wiper stalk DOH!
