Re: PAB's Track car.
Thanks sgh,
Its scratch built by yours truly... 48mm dia. 3mm wall thick CDS Tube with 3mm landing platforms to the body, took two weeks to build into the car. The sunroof panel also bolts to the cage as the winder mech has been removed.
Check out the first page of my build thread to see it growing into the car.

Re: PAB's Track car.
Nice job.. shame it is a self build job.. was hoping it would be usable in mine.. but no way the TUV man will let that through no matter how safe it is

Re: PAB's Track car.
Done a little tidying in the engine bay tonight.
No Dizzy and new style header tank.
[You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]
All wired in and fixed by the power of Velcro.

Fitted a rubber gater on the gear shift too, early Mk2 golf.

Re: PAB's Track car.
What a day!!!
Been at Noble Motorsport for the day while they fine tuned the set-up on the carbs and mapped the new ignition system, never ever thought in my wildest dreams the spec on my engine would make what its made......
201BHP @ 7700RPM
160Lb/ft @ 5800RPM
Check out the curves on the graph....SORTED
Should say 2000cc not 1800cc on the spec at the top.

Special thanks to all Andy @ Omex and Darren @ Noble Motorsport
