been a member for a few weeks now and have only posted pics in the new member part so thought seems i have added a few touches to the dub id show you what iv done
so how it was
[You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]
what ive done
de-badged the rear for a smoother look (also going to paint the badge black or summit)
then i fitted the 4motion front valance, with the side pockets to cool the brakes
and just today i fit my badge-less front grill (need to get the bonnet filled but just chopped it for now) thanks to veedal

Re: Bora TDi
yeh i didnt find it to bad just start off slow and on flat bits like bonnet and doors first then when you get used to it speed things up and keep thing wet not soaked just wet so it doesn't burn the paint off, once you have machined it there'll be holograms all over but when you polish/wax it after they disapear.
amazing results though, all i gotta do now is keep away from jet washes and any type of brushes, sponges all the way now.

Re: Bora TDi
ok so recently i was ready to sell the bora for something smaller like a 6n polo, as we have just got a brand spanking new touran, in the end i couldn't do it, i washed and waxed the bora ready for some snaps for an advert but realised i'd regret selling it,.... so it stays and when i find a job (just finished uni) i think it may start to look a little different.
just had a full service to so im enjoying it all over again.
i give it a real good detail on the weekend, thought id pic whore to show what made me wanna keep it.

nah.. let them go as the tyres they came with were no good and the price was too much. will just have to wait for another set, might go 18" if i find/get a job.

Re: Bora TDi
i recon 18" are the current size to go for.
my bruv has 17" on his golf on stock height and it needs some serious lowering. with 18" i think they'd look bit mroe easy on the eye.
