Re: My Bora
after your nice comments on my ride i thought i'd do the same, bit of lowering and some new rims , it'll be awesome, any chance of a closer picture of the golf splitter?
Re: My Bora
Not a prob will get a close up of the splitter tonight having said that its only really got the wrong one on because the dealership didnt know that there was such a thing as a standard V5 splitter for a bora so they sold me the wrong one cant be arsed to chase them up seing as im changeing the bumpers soon just wish i hadnt gotten rid of my wheels I REALLY NEED WHEELS
Re: My Bora
Hey mate lower your car on some eibach sports line and get these wheels

Re: My Bora
i quite like the idea of the GTi wheels will have to look into them I will give you first refusal on the splitter buddy sorry no pic yet you will however have to modifiy your bumper slightly to fit it its a bit of an arse
Re: My Bora
No probs buddy but just so you know there is a proper v5 one that looks very similar that just clips straight on
Re: My Bora
Well i think ive decided the way forward for the Bora What do ya recon

Re: My Bora
i like the wheels mate, on the down side they are quite heavy i'm lead to believe just a thought for you. I do think they will look good on your ride dude.
Re: My Bora
well im told the correct one is a bora V6 splitter which i take it is an american splitter ive seen loads of boras with the correct one just keep an eye open when you see V5s alot do have the V6 lower splitter
Right mate done a bit of investigateing the two images below show the difference
Fig 1 My Bora with Golf V6 splitter addapted to fit
[You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]
Fig 2 The correct splitter for the Bora V6
[You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]
As you see there is very little difference the outer vents should line up with the splitters outer vents however as you see on mine they dont personally i prefer mine it makes the car look wider i think but was a pain to make it look right

Re: My Bora
Lookin nice mate,
I have the same front splitter, it's off the V6 4Motion, easily obtainable from the dealers to fit straight on the Bora
