Washington aria is being hit with a huge blizzard this weekend.
26" so far, with 6 or so more due...

Had to try to dig out a bit to get a jump on it.

First, shovel out to the car... about 80 yards or so.... Suspect

Thanks for looking! What a Face

Getting 10-20 more inches as we speak... What a winter!

Time to clean the wheels!

Rub-a-Dub Dub, My wheels in the tub! Twisted Evil

[You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]

Time to clean these up for spring! The brake dust gets so bad in the corners... Sad
Especially in the rear. No

I used some Pine Sol to get the grime off.
It actually worked great full strength with a tooth brush to clean most of the grime.
And, It makes the whole house smell good!!
Then I had to follow up with some Rubbing Compound to get into the corners Wink
They came out great!

My tires were fairly shot,
I didn't want the road salt all over the wheels,
I had to clean them,
Now I can also go through the car wash, as the hose is turned off for the winter, and I can't go through the car wash with the A8 wheels, as they scrape the track, it would ruin the wheels.

So I put the stock wheels with the OEM tires (only 500 miles on them before I took them off) with lots of tread.

I like the 3M line of stuff. Perfect It stuff is very good.
I used the Rubbing compound on the tough spots, and just used Swirl Mark Remover on the lighter

Well the dealer just curbed both my left wheels when they were replacing the failing headliner under warranty. Mad

[You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]

They are having the wheels refinished, but I have started a search for the next wheel. Twisted Evil

I really like the CC wheels, but now I see a lot of them around.

[You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]

So I am leaning toward a slighter change.
These are quite similar to the A8 wheels I have now, but perhaps easier to keep clean...

[You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]

But the search continues...

What I really want is R8 wheels....lol

Still have not found the wheels that make me feel like I did when I first saw the A8 wheels I have now.

But I did pick up a nice Rieger rear roof spoiler. Just need to get it painted. cheers
