Re: 07jettamkv's Jetta
Winter mode again... Snow coming tonight. Hopefully it will be a easy winter for us.
Finally fixed the rear caliper carrier bolt that the last shop F.U.B.R.
I don't think they knew what a triple square bit is , so they stripped it out. Then, they could not remove it using the air chisel... SO they returned it to me and said they couldn't do it...

But, thanks to a buddy that now works at the dealership I bought the car at, I got an oil change, and he had his best tech walk him through getting it done with a torch and air chisel for no extra charge!!
Now I can finally replace my rear rotors that are badly warped and getting so annoying that I have not driven the car.

Cant wait to drive it without the annoying shudder every time I brake!
Installing Hawk HPS pads, Zimmerman Zinc rotors, and Steel lines!

Re: 07jettamkv's Jetta
Got to do a awesome underground cruise today with a few Exotics and a ton of Porsche's.
Great time! What incredible sounds!
My little 5 cyl held it's own, even in the rain.
All pics here...

Re: 07jettamkv's Jetta
Time for an upgrade!
Got a deal on this I could not pass up.
The car is so clean it was hard to believe. The I drove it for a day, and fell in love.
It runs strong! I averaged 10 mpg for my first tank...lol
It's still KINDA like a Jetta....lol
