Re: 07jettamkv's Jetta
$350.00 US Dollars for the set of four. No tires. No shipping.
I have no Idea how much shipping would be. It was $75.00 USD when they shipped to me from the seller in California.

I really was not actively trying to sell them.

Re: 07jettamkv's Jetta
Caps came in and looked good! I am happy once again!
I like the look.
Especially since the cap background is so much darker, it makes it look better

Fun cruise with a few of the Capital Dubs crew tonight!
Went through Ellicott City Maryland. Historic town! Crazy twisty roads!
It sprinkled a bit, but we still had a great drive!

Some great shots there mate.
Your car is looking better all the time.
Something we still have to do over here is have a convoy and photo shoot on the way.
Keep the pic's coming

Re: 07jettamkv's Jetta
I have not done much to the Jetta lately, just using up brakes, and trying to keep it clean.
But, when I saw the new 2010 Wolfsburg grill, I had to order one!
Installing and pic's tomorrow!
Bye Bye chrome mirror caps too!

Re: 07jettamkv's Jetta
Got to finishing the pieces today. Overall, better than I though. I just hope the paint holds well and they last a bit.
I also did a pair of clear side markers I still had to replace the slightly tinted ones.
Time to wet sand and buff:
[You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]
Got most of the orange peel smoothed out with the wet sanding. A few deeper crevasses that I didn't want to go after. Probably got something on them after the alcohol bathe on the way to the paint booth on the porch.
Oh no, their ruined!!!
[You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]
The buffer turned out to be no real help. To much to hold the piece, and work the buffer, so I reverted to the good old hand technique.
Revived to a nice shine!
[You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]
The smiley came out so smooth, I only gave it a quick compounding and hand buffing. Still looks great!
Snapped it all back on, and snapped some quick pic's. =D> =D>

Now I just need to see how well it holds up to the rocks and stones in the aria! We will see.
