i went any broke the middle slat when i put it on the car, so its back off being fixed and re-inforced, lesson learnt,
im going to be making another one of these grills if anybody wants to buy it when its done.

[You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]
reason the battery is out is because its f*cked. when i get anew one it will be getting moved to the boot and that fugly battery tray will be getting thrown away and the power steering resevoir will be getting moved to infront of the washer fluid bottle!

Re: Mark's vento VR6 *sad days*
how much it cost you and where you get it from? i want one for mine but unsure where to get one from. guessing quality will differ to where and what you pay for it.
Looks great BTW.

Re: Mark's vento VR6 *sad days*
sad day today, decided im breaking the vento for spares.
totally gutted about doing this love this car to bits and i cant bear the thought of selling it. been checking around the car with its mot coming up next month. really it needs too much for its mot to be worthwhile. so its all going for spares.
1996 Vento vr6 in silver.
all going pretty cheap apart from the biggies i have in mind what i want for them
Full heated leather interior inc door cards with the loom and switch all mint condition £400
Motor, box, loom and ecu. 148k chains are fine but included is an overhaul kit worth £200 - £700 or
if you want the hubs, arb, wishbones, subframe and rear axle for mk2 vr6 widetrack conversion £950
rear axle without calipers or discs (as they are fooked) £50
fully functional corrado spoiler inc wiring, motors and switch £80 or £100 with the bootlid
312mm audi tt brake setup, lucky if the pads and discs have seen 1500 miles. includes calipers and any hoses you need £200
Doors 25 each, pass side has tiny spot of surface rust, needs painted though, drivers side has a bit of rot near the top. rear doors are mint.
grills - late spec with choice of badge colours £10
or custom made badgless early spec grill, made from two early spec grills. read for paint £40
Vento front end, bonnet, smoked headlights, grill, front bumper (vento bumpers are different from golfs) £120
rear bumper £20
Thick door mouldings with vr6 badges and some spare clips suits 5door golf and ventos £30
gti/vr6 side skirts, pass side is mising the 2 end clips £30
gti/vr6 early spec arch mouldings £30
bbs montreals 16inch, painted satin black with red pinstripe, plenty life in the tyres, all straight £150
leather trimmed steering wheel £30
couple vw badges, matt black, mars red and shiney chrome.
