Just got a line on a guy who does resprays and such as homers so, all I need now is to find a decent nearside big window door and I can get some where with it and get her looking a bit more presentable lol

where can i get the bits to move the stereo from the top of the dash to under the ashtray area like yours? that looks much tidier.

my car was a C spec jetta when I got it with no center console. So went a grabbed one from the scrappy and cut the ash tray out and fitted my stereo there. Used to big a big thing to do back in the 90's in the states lol.

ah right, is it hard to do? im tempted to do that to mine

Well I'm a vw tech so don't know your skills but hey the consoles are cheap so if you mess it up just get another one.
