my mk1 coupe
this is a bit of a saga so the telling will take some telling..........and sorry if anyone out there is still on 56k
very sorry
basically it all started a dozen or so years ago,i came across this in a friends back garden as he was building it for his daughter after finding it in an old persons drive and i eventually bought it when his daughter professed no wish to drive about in a burgundy jehtuhhhhhh and took it back to my mates and started the first incarnation
[You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]
basically as you see its missing trim windows and style, its also missing any!!!!!!!!wiring steering column(partway through a left to right conversion)the rear right strut hence the violent sag,no engine no brakes no front seats, carpet, headlining

Re: my mk1 coupe
converted it to right hand drivechucked on some -50mm springs some bmw bbs' and some paint that included doors, bonnet, front panel, boot,ds wing. Also gave it some dodgy 'period'accesories like tinted rear lights, bad boy spoiler and tinted indicators

this towbar actually saved the whole project on the first transport home when the rear 'strut'nee bit of scaffolding tube fell out when being towed

Re: my mk1 coupe
then i bought a mk2 16v jetta which had a rather tuned engine by a company called AMD with head cams lightened and balanced and a dyno print for 174.5 bhp which duly got fitted along with rear discs
[You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]
then it got kinda forgotten about as i went away to work and got kinda lost with the project and it got towed to my brothers back garden till i kinda resurrected it for the third time and started working on it again
