mods:
gti camshaft
weber 32/34 twin choke carb
full gti exhaust including downpipe
g-maxx -80mm lowering springs and shocks
car drived great, but i poped the cylinder head and was young and stupid and stripped it for parts for shame
next...
1990 'H' plate jetta 1.8 syncro
swapped this for my old mk3 polo. was in a sorry state when i got it and was riddled with faults. engine bay wiring loom was burnt in fire so previous owner tried to DIY it and made a mess. The pierburg was on its way out and the exhaust was about to die. so i terted it up and ended up scrapping it because i also found out that the rot was alot worse than i thot...
pic of when i got it...
