So i got myself some VR6 Trims and... ARCHES!! I know i said i hated arches and all that, but lookin at the silicone pi**es me off big style!! and i am not goin to fork out for bodyshop this year, so trims are BACK!!

i know they need cleaning, but i will do it before i fit them properly!

today i only did the door trims!

tomora i will trims and was arches and probably roll arches!

then next week i will fir arches im sure!!

oooh heck, ones on doors don't look good. sell em me coz i couldn't find any couple weeks ago and i bought a set of GTI ones looks like my vent will be a sleeper.

as for those bulbs, they are just amber ones, you can get em fully painted in orange, didn't want em too bright coz i thought you'd not see the indicators flash

i hunted around for the trims for a while! so when they came up...l POW i had them! lol!!

mine are normal white ones, so you can see the indicator flash also, but mine are nowhere near as bright as yours!

any chance you could check urs n let me know! mine are 501s 12v 5w!

as for the sleeper, i know, mine only has tyhe door trims to warn them! lol! apart from that they'll think its a family saloon!!

they are the 501s 12v 5w mate. mainly for side repeaters, i'm sure theres no going wrong with that description.

i've not actually checked coz i'm been busy with rado wing, but i can honestly say they are them bulbs as above

Ok, so got some news!

well, Brakes have neen ordered! groved n drilled n EBC pads all round, had to ass my brakes are warped n freeze if cold overnight!

also, Went to the storage unit, to check up on the gottis, n drop off the spare lgiths and grill i been carryin round.

on the way out, i forgot bout the steep entrance n ripped the splitter off a treat! so it was time for some driveway surgery with a drill n cable ties!!

also, earlier today, i made myself some ramps! as its always a hassle when i go to Robs or want to jack the car up, so as we r havin the bathroom done, i stole some wood floor board!

used silicone between the layers, and then duck tape! then left them to set under some of the spare driveway bricks!

not a bad days work huh? well, i was intending on doing the arches today, the full shabang, so cleanin them, trimin them, then rolling my arches, sealing them and fitting them!

i did non of the above exept for cleaning them!

Daz, rims are 17x by 8s n 9 1/4s with ets of 46 n 41! on 195/40/17s upfront and 205/40/17s out back!

need measurements in mm from rim to rim from the outside!not J (and from your gottis :wink: ),your gottis are 5x120 right?

you say 8 but thats J,stance measurement 1-o-1 say work out OSL(out side lip) and TOT et(top of tyre et)you can factor in whether your tucking tyre but then your guessing the arch to sidewall ET require

you slamming the wagon?are you going onto the writing again?gimme a J measurement and ET off your OG rim(or whatever your running)and distance from outside lip to arch on the OG's

23cm and 26cm are the widths from lip to lip!

i trial fitted them with no adapters and have about 22mm from lip till arch lip on front and about 15mm at rear!

im goin for tuck tyre n lip level with body on the front and bit of poke out rear!

rollin arches tomora i think!

still not done yet... man your not satisfying here!!
