Ghetta VR.... Kickin Game with a Capital G!!!
Hi all,
as some might know, i have a thing for booty, so i ams tickin with what i love.
carrying on from this..

which now looks like this...
[You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]
and my nan is keeping while she is in the UK, so i have decided to get cracking with this one!
so i saw this 1 day and really fancied the colour, called the guy, had a chat, agreed a viewing, then at the viewing, after having a real good look, i handed a £200 deposit!
this meant i had to raise funds for this, so my 17" Porsche RSs and Brand New Gold MLs had to go PRONTO!!
[You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]
within a week, i had sold both, and weekend after, i picked this baby up!!
it arrived lookin std bar the bdgeless FK grille (which really wasnt to my taste) and some 15" Audi TT mk1 speedline wheels (which i quite like)!
[You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]
So with 4 months TAX and 12 mon ths MOT, i have time to get started!
so changed the Coilies over from the Ghetta, and stereo and interior! althought this came with the mintest black leather interior EVER!!
which means Rob at Raob's West Bicester Customz was called in to get stuck in!!
waiting to go in
[You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]
gettin into it!
[You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]
while work was goin on, i decided to get nosey and peel 1 arch off! as i dont like them! and well, guess what?? they were not factory fitted, which meant...l Tonnes of silicone!!
[You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]
so coillies and everything else changed over, meant tracking to be done and an overall final check on the ramp!!
[You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]
Ooops!!
[You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]
so as it stands now, it is in winter/thinking mode, which means i got to think what i want to do with it thru the winter!
Rob knows what he want to do, and it's peel the silicone off!! ha ha!
[You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]
i have been thinking hard about wheels, and although i havent decided in 1, i have a few leads!
the wheels which i thought i was goin to CC and run fully tucked, i decided not to! so were sold! but had plenty of potential!

so as it stands now here is a few pics.

next to my MD's F430
[You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]
did a bit more lowering up frotn for a better stance and blue LED sidelights were also added.

not sure if to go 17s,16s, wide or tuck, so any suggestions or ideas would be cool!
also along with some comments if you like!

Go 17" for a while Serg! it'll save you needing a new VR splitter every 5 mins If you've still got the BBs (in the later pics) then give them a shot for sure!
Front tuck and rear poke is never a bad thing

17s are the way forward. at the moment mines on coilovers. it might not sit the lowest compared to dubs on 15s or 16s but 17s fill the arches better. even my front splitter catches on some things but on the rarest occasions.
with yours that low its gunna catch everywhere

Re: Ghetta VR.... Kickin Game with a Capital G!!!
Thanx for the input!
Pete, think Tuck n poke are defo the way i'm headin, and those BBSs are gone, so i'm on the look out, and defo Stu, 17s are i think the way forward!
My splitter already catches in/out of work daily and in/out my house! plus on everythin else which is more then 2" off the floor! ha ha!
splitter is not what i'm worried bout, but the extremely low sump which VRs have!

Yeah man.. atleast 17's still give the impression that the cars slammed, but gives vital millimetres clearance to the underside lol - looking forward to seeing what you choose! ... saying that 16" banded steelies tucked upfront so 8" and poke out back, so say 9.5" that'd look sick!!!

Re: Ghetta VR.... Kickin Game with a Capital G!!!
Steels aint my cup of tea! defo not on a clean car, they look sick on a retro or ghetto car but not a clean one!
so the hunt for some sick special 17s is on, and then you know i'll add the sergio touch to the once they are here, regardless of cost or rarity, i just need to get a rattle can to eveythin i touch, its an addiction!

Re: Ghetta VR.... Kickin Game with a Capital G!!!
Thanx guys!
this will be a slower process than the last one, as for the last one, i knew exactly what i wanted to do with it and had most bits and bobs ready and did it all in 1 weekend pretty much!
with this one, i am taking it slower and a more mature less stickered approach! however, rims will be as always my strong point!
i've got a sick set in mind right now!

Re: Ghetta VR.... Kickin Game with a Capital G!!!
Thanx guys!
Ray, they wont be on the car for a while, as its winter n all, plus now i need to save up for tyres, and bein me, they need that ever so special touch hand crafted by myself.
Jay, if i let it out that would be tellin! but trust, its all bout the stance babay! u know me!
and Pete, i doubt they are the ones u was after, as these ones have been "mine" for quite a while, i just had to put the payment on hold for 3 months! ha ha!
but now they are fully paid!
