Re: My Vento! Fresh Rimzzz and Rubber!
Hey man. Going to lay a deposit down on a 1.820vt AGU out of a t reg audi a3 sport.. its 150 bhp standard but its had a custom code remap so is running 210 !!!
Also in the process of lining up; engine wise..
Peloquin LSD
Stainless steel brake lines
280mm G60 Brake set up
Induction Kit
Custom Stainless turbo back system
FMIC to fill front central void in bumper
and i want my inlet manifold mystic blue to match the car lol, or polished, i cant decide.
Bodywise.. it was getting painted first, but this 20vt came up at a price that was very reasonable considering FSH and i get to see it running in the Audi on saturday!! i found it hard to say no.
Its a late spec splitter dude.. think this one is off a late VR.. its very shallow (theres a pic of it in the general car chat under vento splitter!)
Teledials are 15" man with 165/50 Potenza's on (stretch its tasty ), seized coilover has put me out of business lowering wise for now but it doesnt need it.. looks cool
Will get pics up when i lend my mates SLR

Haha cheers, funny you mention that my speedo reads like 5-6 mph more than what im actually doing ! fat 16's (maybe 17's) after crimbo Serg
Stu G wrote:that looks sweet as fook dude. did ya have to get a different steering wheel boss to get it to fit??
Cheers Stu, yeah i did need a different boss. Bought the neccessary Momo Boss kit for it (you get discount if you buy the pair from Venom mtrsport).. you need to get the boss kit with the resistor so that the resistor itself turns off the airbag light on your right !

Cant remember if i mentioned.. but the coilover seizing up has put me out of business lowering wise.. not too fussed as ive been able to loosen up the rebound and enjoy a bit of comfort !!
Il get a couple of pics up tomorrow of its new heart

Re: My Vento! Fresh Rimzzz and Rubber!
Ta ray! 1.8t pics asap !
haha cheers Serg, they are tiny like.. seen the blue one on blue dials, thats the only other one ive seen!.. the adapters on are 22mm upfront 30mm out back .. theyre only winters anyway, they were gonna go on my mk2 but im selling that now .... theyre getting sold at the end of the month gotta fund the engine somehow!
It comes off the road in 2 weeks so im just waiting for that now!!
As mentioned before, the AGU's running 210bhp aiming for the 250 makr tho, i honestly cant wait..
When it comes back it should be a bit of a weapon

lol, yeah that would look awesome... if the wheels were keepers i'd consider stancing them, its just a shame they gotta be sold!

Yeah its a must for mine.. i dont have a drive so its gonna be stored in a friends large unit/garage ARC racing, where the conversions getting done.
I was originally getting just the engine for £800, but now im getting the whole A3 for £1300! and its a minter!! Gonna get them side by side and just strip them both and re fit the Vento.. Il be driving the A3 around until the vento needs the engine though.
Took a trip out in the Audi today.. it feels very quick. Spins the wheels in 3rd gear lol so down went the deposit

Re: My Vento! Fresh Rimzzz and Rubber!
lol cheers serg man!
Well i made the trip to manchester today and picked up the audi...
Got handed the keys and log book and we were away, first impressions are very good! It has had a CC remap as previously mentioned, a good size induction kit already on and a recirculating valve (not quite a dump, but similar noise) and it sounds absolutely awesome when the turbo spools up
With it being so quiet compared to the vento, your going alot faster than you think lol <--- this isnt good!!!
Managed to retain a handsome 36.4mpg average too which im really happy with
I will get pics up tomorrow when ive given the car a good wash, i love it!
