Re: My Vento! Fresh Rimzzz and Rubber!
looks ace mate. if you roll the arches, can you stick the arch trims on without any lairy gaps?

Re: My Vento! Fresh Rimzzz and Rubber!
Not entirely sure on that one .. they have a flat section that hugs your inner arch and you can actually screw them onto the arch from the inside like mine. If they were rolled you wouldnt be left with enough material to screw the arches in but you could always just use sealing to hold them on... ive got some really good black blue-tac kinda stuff that doesnt damage the paint but holds forever - the arches could sit on the car just using that. If you wanted rolling and the arches on you may have to cut away some of the plastic trim to avoid scrubbing when low .. Trial and error that one i think

Re: My Vento! Fresh Rimzzz and Rubber!
Hey guys.. little bit more progress to post up..
1st of all.. Just been cautioned by the feds haha! " If it happens again son, your looking at 3 points on your licence!"
Any Pressed plates apparently dont reflect back at speed camera's because theyre embossed! (not that i even speed!!) ... so thats right - theyre all illegal whether theyre banded or unbanded like mine!!
[You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]
Sticking to my normal plates from now on! I said to the guys who pulled me over... ive had police cars behind and infront that havent pulled me over for this and they've been on ages.. and he just said "sorry, they're illegal" so naturally i questioned ilalic font, small plates, carbon-look font and again.. "sorry, theyre illegal too.. were cracking down now!"
Mod-wise..
Just got my rear brake conv. setup
[You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]
and some new shoes!
[You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]
Sending them off to pureklas this week to get them mirror-polished hopefully!!

Re: My Vento! Fresh Rimzzz and Rubber!
280mm that one .. took a bit of getting used to, but i love it!
Just thinking.. its been a while since ive posted on my car.. i have quite alot of updates..
Now sporting a mk3 Votex Roof rack, porsche teledials (can only just get into my uni car park) and my us/mexico plate tub and import size legal square plates front and rear..
Cars running a bit low, so swapped the vr splitter for a late spec. shallow one so no catching upfront. (il get pics up when the weathers a bit nicer)
Car comes off the road at the end of the month until middle of next year! - Good news is im putting a deposit down on my new engine on saturday
from 90bhp to 210 we go!!
