Re: MY 4 MOTION BORA
It has optimum remap by Chipped uk done on rolling road. Milltek high flow cats ,milltek exhaust all done with group buy from UK-MK4-NET Forum. Black Vinyl roof, wing mirrors, b pillars done by Team Dynamics mkiv forum group buy. This car really flies now, pity to let it go. peter

Re: MY 4 MOTION BORA
Although remaps seem expensive at £200 - £400 a go theres NO better bang per buck.

Re: MY 4 MOTION BORA
Ok, sorry for delay, figures from re-map are 225.7 bhp at 6345rpm, 208.6 lbs/ft torque ar 4455 rpm these figures are with all 4 wheels on the rollers turning (haldex not turned off ). Some disconnect haldex and run front wheels only on the rollers. Since remap I can achive 34 - 38 mpg on motorway at 70mph around town its about 28 mpg .I think it was worth the money for the remap as the torque increase was really noticable .I have now done 3,000 miles since remap and intend to put it on the rollers again now new exhaust and high flow cats should be carboned up abit now. peter

Re: MY 4 MOTION BORA
Surely Chipped Uk is not far from you ,they are always doing special deals etc. Ask for Jason he is the owner and very helpful. Did you understand the figures after remap a little more BHP from 204 standard - 225.7 after map but the real gain on these cars is the torque.Peter

Peterborough based Jabba spot is good, loads of experience in dubs, Jayson from chippeduk has been on the scene for year's now. He's come a long way!
But if I went to Bromsgrove, there is only one place I would go. This lot actually are in motorsport and understand mapping and tuning better than most.

Re: MY 4 MOTION BORA
We was told...
A new car is 100%, and a well mantained car is 80%, and the MOT standard is only 20/25% so the mot testers sometimes use their mecanic head for MOT's and there for raise the standard of MOT's (VOSA don't like that and for this reason mot testers have to go for a refresher course every 5 years )
hope this helps
