Re: audi coupe
I had a 2.2 10v quattro [it was my dad's from new]. They are very slow, and very thirsty. The 20v quattro and 2.8 quattro are better but rare and equally thirsty [low 20's].
The S2 is similar on running costs but quiet quick, but expensive to buy.
The facelift 2.0 8v FWD examples are the best VFM IMO as you can see Chris's look great
2.8 quattro 174hp

Re: audi coupe
i had a 2.2 10v quattro before. the older boxier shape. it was fairly slow but i just loved the sound.mmmmmm
it went much much better when a mate put my 2.5 10v in it instead.
not after the power really, just the 4wd and the sound of a 5 pot. but im more than happy to settle for this 2L 8v for now. does anyone know if this engine code is the same as in mk3 golfs or is it different code and bits etc.
