Not a heap its a good start. Sorry I couldn't help with the power steering but I do have a load of other parts so if your after anything let me know I maybe able to help. For example I have a set of shocks and lowering springs you could have. Not my bro's mine so I know they havn't been sold. Good luck with the car, maybe see you during the season. By the way what colour is it? hard to tell with night time shots.

just serviced the car

the heaters are still blowing cold, havent got the new matrix yet though.

but i have found out that the car has covered over 100 miles without an air filter, but it now has a brand new one, only to find there wasnt one at all, replaced the sparkplugs and cables for it couse they were fudged, taped up the blowing in the exhaust and then started there car up and it didnt even turn over once before igniting just started as soon as you turned the key
im quite chuffed Smile

Nowt wrong with that. Mop it, drop it, roll on banded steels.

Heater problem is the bypass valves (really you wouldn't believe how often i've said that recently)

its was runnin great yesterday, today the battery light has been flickering and its trying to stall, stalled 3 times on the way back form connahs quay, just ahd to press the accerator to get it up again, but yeah the air is blowin but theres no heat, could somebody link me somewhere to get a replacement valve? also the clutch engages aright at the very end of the pedal and its suffering for it i think...

if somebody can make a copper pipe replacement (i just dont want to get 3rd degree burns...) id appreciate it Smile

the copper pipe is your easiest route all i did was went to baq got a length cant remeber the exact thickness.

then i got a grinder and cut it into lengths about as long as the valves are once removed. slipped them into the ends of he rubber hoses and jubilee clipped them back into place.

really is an easy job tbh!

battery light migh be a loose faulty earth or connecttion to the battery

check you cables!

inseat of using copper pipe you can replace the the two hoses with these pipes from gsf

18004 HEATER HOSE (FEED) - £9.45
18005 HEATER HOSE (RETURN) - £9.45

here are two threads from cgti on the matter

As I mentioned before I still have a genuine heater valve you can have just pm me your address and I'll send it to you. Also is your clutch cable an auto adjuster or manual adjustment, you maybe able to tighten it slightly yourself, or is it just a knackered clutch? Flickering battery light as steve mentioned maybe a bad earth or connection to the battery, it may also be a bad connection onto the alternator. I would think one of the first 2 however as it is also cutting out on you.
