Jetta Import
Hi everyone, hope u all enjoyed the weather at gti spring festival!!
just thought i'd show u my daily driver
O.k this car was orginally bought in Florida as a european import (hence the right hand drive, Air-con and rear window louvre) The guy then sold it and was exported to South africa!, then the owner exported it to the u.k in 1998!! i bought it in september 07
its a 1.8 8v carb model and its a CLX
I bought it like this.........

mate that looks awsome! i love the grille type fingy that was on the back window its uniqe and sumfing a bit different! lol

think they call em lourve vents for rear window. i read something about em in one of vw mags. you can buy em from USA but don't think they are cheap. in the £1XX.

i bought it from corby, off the guy who owns 'Crazy udder' the milkshake firm u see at all the shows??

alot of people have offered me £££'s for it but i just cant let it go!!!. I dont really need it for every day but it makes a good talking point at shows etc

I've got a mk2 coming in the same year.....and if mine looks half as good as that....im gunna be one happy lad!!

ye small bumpers all the way....much better for the lowrider IMO.

she's comining off the road now due 2 age related issues (i.e water leaks and rust issues around the windscreen ) so i will keep u all posted and let u know how she is getting on
i have just bought an 89 passat B3 to keep me on the road while this gets lightened even more and made into a track beast
i will sell the aircon system if anyone is interedted!!?
