Project J'ettam
Hello chaps.
Thought I'd drop in and say hello. My local club / forum is the VUU Cult up in the region of Hull / Grimsby.
I run what used to be a '91 Jetta 1.8 GL with 190k on the clock but it's now sporting a 16v KR lump with associated running gear, etc.
[You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]
After this picture was taken, it had the engine swap, coilies fitted, complete new front end suspension/brake-wise... new calipers, wishbones, poly bushes, track rod-ends, ball joints, ARB mounts, hubs, bearings, carriers, discs & pads, etc... so the only thing original on it now is the shell! It now runs a set of G60's...
[You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]
But then I had an accident, which has required my front end rebuild...

I still have the Audi Pepperpots in nice warm storage plus a few other rims I sue when I feel like it. It'll all be back together this weekend and I'll be at the Elsecar Mega Meet with it on Sunday... hopefully!
Anyway, hello guys, and hope to speak to you all soon.
Giles.

Re: Project J'ettam
Just a quick update... and a few new shots.
2.0 9a bottom end is now on the engine stand, along with a spare KR head with fast cams... a set of Yamaha R1 carbs on custom inlet manifold , 4 branch exhaust manifold and R1 fuel pump finish it all off.
Went to GTI Inters the other weekend, but because it was so low, the front bumper decided that it liked the grass more than it liked being attached to the front of the car. Nice. The drive home was interesting without it attached!
Anyway, here's some non-damage shots from a few months back. Enjoy.

I think you should start shopping for some Mr T. Match the centre's to the colour of your car?.....
They do look special on the Jetta.
