My £150 Vento Empty My £150 Vento

Post by KRVento Wed Jan 09, 2008 6:44 pm

Just joined up here and this is my bargain Vento, it came onto Ebay on Sunday, i emailed the chap asking what he wanted and snapped his hand off when he said £150. It was only 10 mins walk from home as well. RESULT!!!!

He was selling it cheap due to the damage at the rear, from reversing into a post in a local car park, he took it to a garage and was quoted £1000 to repair.

Since picking it up on Monday, i've managed to get the boot open, straightened out the rear panel, so the boot opens and closes now. I'm looking for a replacement bumper and bootlid though.

Plans are for a budget euro style cruiser, lowered, banded steels etc, for under £1000

thats a right bargain. one thing to watch out for the breather pipe that runs down the block may split. will cause the revs to stick. sweet motor though Smile

I've hopefully found a bumper and a bootlid, and luckily they're the same colour, just awaiting a price on them
