my vento 2.0 gti

hi this is my vw vento 2.0 gti

ive only owed it 1 day and love the car already

so much cheaper then my scbooy turbo was to insure

and any ideas to make it look better fire away

so far the car has recaro style interoir
fk coil overs , any one know how to adjust the height on them lol
17 bk alloys
full closeure alram
vr6 front spoiler
and vr6 debadged grill
k&n induction kit
german stlyle plate surrounds
smoked rear lights

i envy you, you will come to find out i love mk3's and want one real bad!! the more i look at the wheels the more i like them, has a good stance but i would slam it. got to ask a stupid question, but whats with the hood?

they are bonnet lifters. not keen on them myself. apart from that car looks cool. is that a genuine vr splitter on there?? or is it the fact it has a golf bumper on there. ah well either way looks cool mate. what induction kit ya got on mines got same engine in.

looks awesome pal other than the bonnet. not a fan of that but its to your own taste. its in a better shade of red than mine.

btw i have bonnet lifters on mine, doesn't lift my bonnet up like that. think its been adjusted at the hinges to give it that circulation through engine bay.

yeah must admit that i would take them off if the bonnet didnt sit right it just looks out of place to me, but a very nice car tho mate! and red is a good color to have on vw`s (but ofcourse im not byast?)

hi im not sure i brought the car like it but was told it was to keep the engine cooler , dosent over heat just think he done it for the looks im not keen on it tho

Did they do a vento gti? I thought the 2.0 was only in gl form.

ive been told the highest was 2.0 gl. never a gti. it then went to the vr6

slick vento dan it needs to be slammed to the ground man but its all good for now m8 any other plans for your car?

stu g - is the 2.0l 8v not the same as the gti 8v engine? not one to know but thats what i thought initially.

the bonnet up from what ive heard doesnt make a cooling difference, it will affect the ait into the blower motor though.

if its a 2.0 8v valve it will be originally badged a gl but it is the same engine as put in the mk3 golf gti. or if its a 16v it will have have a abf conversion at some point in its life, they only put the 16v in the mk3 golf not the vento

yeah the 2.0 8vs in ventos are the early mk3 gti 8v. so we got bout 115 bhp i think. hey it does me proud if it blowes same engine but with summat added on the front or back

plenty more mpg than my vr
had considered gettin a 2.0 gl but power thurst got to me.
