My mk2 jetta - l3atHer &nd nAt0
So then i bought a 70k mile 1.8 Gl, bit tatty with rusty arches all round, rear panel rusty, but generally sound and standard.

Stripped my Golf Gti for parts and wheels etc:

Fixed up rear arches and panel :

Got new front wings:

And this is how it stands now:

I love it. Next on the list is to fit my bucket seats out of the Golf, wind the coilies down a bit, and maybe weld new arches on the rear as i'm not 100% happy with what i've done.

Welcome aboard Buddy another one makes the conversion from Golf to Jetta lookin good by the way what buckets you got in the golf keep us posted on the progress

blimey, thats a bit of a bargain mate, I like it a lot, I knew I shoudve bought ATS Cupd for mine!

Drive like that ... actually you don't, it's illegal, they just covers that you gotta take off while on the move. If i was clever i'd hook them to motors to retract them. But i'm not that clever

Mask off the lower parts and the black bits so only the indicator lenses are showing, then use tint spray:

8x14's on front 9x14's on rear. 195 tyres all round. Inner tubes on rear!

gl's rule! I got the front end off the golf i was scrapping, just the crystal lights were bought, £40 or something?
