Ultimate Dubs 2008 (Telford)

hey has anything been comfirmed yet?

maybe we should generate a list to see who is attending pre-meet and who is turning up on the day.

also of the people on the stand, theres a lot of new members now, should there be any changes to the line up?

i will be down about dinner time on the sat, and show sun, really wntd to get the vento in the show or at least in the outside show:(

Dear Club

We are looking forward to having you at Ultimate Dubs 2008, where you will be amongst some of the best cars & clubs from around the Country & Europe.

We will not be sending out entrance passes, all you have to do is come to the Club & Trader entrance on the Sunday (located off roundabout) and you will be directed to the Outside Club Display Area, where you will be shown your club space.

Venue address - Telford International Centre, St Quentin Gate, Telford, Shropshire. TF3 4JH.

* It is advised to arrive at the venue as close to 7.30am as possible, due to Traffic Congestion in 2007. *

General Information / Terms & Conditions

• All Outdoor Clubs must be at the venue between 7.30am and 8.30am on Sunday 9th March. Please note that there will be no entry to the Club Display area after 9.00am.
• All Club vehicles must remain in the Outdoor Club Display area until 3.00pm on Sunday 9th March, but must be out of the area by 6.00pm.

• We remind you that the insurance of all vehicles is the responsibility of the owner and not the organiser or the venue.
• The organisers accept no responsibility for any damage or loss to property.
• No animals allowed on site.
• Under no circumstances are generators to be used.
• No pressurised containers, gas bottles etc allowed on site.
• Accomodation is the responsibility of the exhibitors. Contact us if you wish to book on-site accommodation.
• The distribution / sale of food and drink is not permitted on site.
• Please take notice of event stewards at all times.

All is good. what time you guys thinkin of setting off from ...where ever it is your staying? i was thinkin of meet you lot there and not at the show.

Stayin at the premier travel in not sure what time we are leavin there yet but we can sort that the day before for those attending the meet however for those not i will need contact numbers (yours ive got Manzi)

ha i am sleeping in car lol, their are 8 cars leaving frm ma house on the sat at 1 and all sleeping in our cars lol cnt wait..... not !!

thats the same hotel as us leaving about 4am on sat morning

geezz dude thats far too early for me to leave ill be leavin Norfolk about 10am i recon

i was told it was a 4 hour drive so im making sure i dont need to rush

i'm one of the closer ones arn't i with a journey time of 2 hours.

i'll be there but not going till sun morning but will try to catch up with some of you in there

Right we are down to three for those who havnt heard manzi is unable to show his car on the stand. Who else is interested who isnt coming on Saturday just so i can get an idea. Below is the list currently confirmed.

hey folks it wasnice meeting all use the day at ultimate dubs , was a gr8 day , very busy and lots of stunning cars .

Thanks for all your support buddy it was a great day and great way to open the club up car looked mint by the way buddy pics will be up shortly

Indeed it was a top day, I just wish i'd had chance to give her a proper clean. It reassuring to hear people making positive comments about it being good to see Jettas. There were a few people who approached who claimed to own some pretty rare stuff too, so shall we aim for a spot inside next year?

Team Jetta will be sparkling for GTI Spring Fest, i'm just deciding whether to drop the engine out to give the bay a spruce up. Need to keep the end up.
