hey, names gary, staying in perth, scotland. sunshine country... 
had my jetta for a few months now. its a 1.8 8v...not for long. doing a vr6 turbo conversion. working progress. so far ive stripped the vr down, rebuilding the engine to deal with all the new pressure from the turbo, and giving it a good clean up. untill thats all done, im driving about with my lumpy 8v the now!
glad there is a jetta forum, needing a few tips and some advice on it.

was thinking of keeping it, maybe once this one is finished i'll put it in a mk1 golf. will try and get photo's up this weekend

nice work bud vr6's with turbo sound amazing look forward to seeing the car when its done

Welcome to JOC buddy if you need any advice with the VR swap just ask there are one or two of us on here with the VR engine
