Hello all, just joined the club.
I'll post some pics of my car soon, its a 1988 GTI 16v in silver. Its been prepaired by by myself for trackdays and hill climbs. I'll post a bit of a spec when i've sorted the photos.

Look forward to hearing from you and meeting you, gonna book tickets for the weekend at Harewood house, is the club having a stand and can I bring the car?

Welcome to the club buddy car looks awesome saw it in the members rides earlier what BHP you puttin out.

With regard to tickets if you pop along to the club shop like Popeye said you will be able to purchase them there with the added bonus of reserving your place on the club stand.

Hello Reaver, your Bora is really smart.

Had the jetta on the rollers in Nottingham last October, its was making 105BHP at the wheels, thats about std, same if it was running K-Jet. That was on a standard exhaust, now have a 4branch Ashley header and system off a golf with a home made bespoke tail pipe, don't know what its making now as i've not run it yet. The plan was to sort the Chassis out, run the carbs purley for the sound effects on a stock KR then build an ABF on ITBs, dry sumped, with forged internals good for 7500RPM to Make 215+ BHP........... Just started the engine gonna cost a bomb LOL!!!!!!

thats some serious engine build, i look forward to see your achievements on this.

Its a bit scarey I know.... slowly slowly it'll come together. Started the car project in sept. 06. Seem to be getting just as much of a buzz developing the car as I do driving it.
