Hey Guys,

Popeye saw a wanted ad of mine for some jetta bits on CGTI and told me about the forum, so here I am, my name is Bryn, I`m a long time mk2 guy, with a soft spot for a chunky butt, previous jettas include a capri green 8v gti, still knocking about, a guy on e38 has it now, a syncro in jade green and my current which some may remember as the tango jetta from a few years ago, 8v gti, fiat orange and previously on ats classics. If anyone happens to have any pics of it in its previous life, I`d really like to get copies/see them.
Got it about 18mths ago, had been off the road for a while, the ats are long gone and I`ve had it in storage.

It came on Ra`s, which were sold, tried the Borbets, but wasn`t convinced....

Then the Mo`s, got potential, but not wth small bumpers and not with the early grill, or body trims....

Have collected most of the ingredients for this one, but I`m not going to give the game away before I`ve even started properly, although plans do include 5 stud, 17`s, engine conversion amongst other good stuff, paint will stay for this year, but may get changed once its mainly how I want it.

Yes it came from that area, guy had it up for sale for age and ages, would be great if someone had pics of it in its old guise, have been searching about, but only come up with another tango`d one, which is a diesel.

is it still missing the rear bench

ha ha, (insider knowledge there Popeye) not exactly have a very special interior half in/out of it at the mo, just really need the c pillar trim and the parcel shelf and I will have all I need on the inside.

Just saw your last post, can`t remember what the guy called himself on the forums, thought TangoDaves was a diesel as the script under his avatar says 1.6 tdi 105ps.
