This is my 1.8auto gl.. well it used to be.
Took a 90spec rado 16v kr & basically shoehorned most of it in the jetta, front subframe/engine 02a box with a vr6 clutch.
312mm s3 brakes up front with b5 passat callipers & a cheeky mod.
rado rear beam & brakes
tsr 4 branch hooked up to a rado exhaust & extended.
rado interior but not the dash as I like the mk2 dash.
Avo's all round
I wanted a 16v that no-one has & they never came in calypso green so pretty unique... I hope.
Hope you likes it.

Cheers fella, I think the gold works really well.. nightmare finding the right colour though, I'll be going through it again next year no doubt as it'll be old hat

Thanks for the comments mate, it's amazing what a different paint scheme does to rather dull set of wheels, using 25mm spacers to get that stance & doesn't even catch however the arch lips are none existent & the g60 arches are bonded on. The 195 tyres are stretched just enough aswell I think.

I never had a brother so hello bro
Mines got leccy mirrors!!
Your jet is sweet fella & some nice extras too!
Am looking forward to seeing your car bro.
I had an imported jetta from South Africa some years ago that sounds a double of yours.
It came with 4xleccy windows
90 H with early k-jet 8v motor
Slightly different dash to accomodate the aircon I think.
Adjustable steering column etc etc...
Wish I still had it

Re: my 1990 jetta
Hopefully my Jetta will get some mods done over the next few months.
Past couple of days I've been moving the stereo about & this is what I've been upto.
1st off I removed the ashtray & hacked away the unwanted holder.
[You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]
Had a shroud lying about & with a little filing hear & there fit the head unit & the hole
[You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]
The head unit is an old school pull-out Alpine cassette player with a CD shuttle from the 90's.
[You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]
The handle was removed to fit the shroud flush.
[You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]
Also stuck a fisher casstte holder in.

Came out well I think.
