Re: Stoner Park 6 June 2010 - STAND LIST
Hi Peter I'm sorry you was let down by the club, not sure what is going on behind the scenes but its not fair on the members.
We were unable to attend due to financial reasons & also our little boy has had a nasty tummy today :-( We are absolutely gutted we couldnt attend as Stonor is our local vw show.
Maybe certain admin can explain why our club is going to pot??
p.s your Jetta looks lovely just a shame she's on her own

Re: Stoner Park 6 June 2010 - STAND LIST
All I can do is apologise for what has happened at stoner park it is very unusual for these circumstances to occur. My Jetta broke down on the Thursday and against all my best efforts to fix it in time I failed. Attempting to rectify the problem I sent all of the info and passes to another crew member Popeye who unfortunately on Saturday managed to scold his arm rendering him unable to drive thus unable to attend with the info. I was unaware of Popeyes incident untill Sunday morning by which time it was far to late to try to organise anything else.
Obviously I cannot speak for other people not wishing to attend the stands which we try to put together. I run the club (as a volunteer) for the members paid or un paid I however cannot be everywhere at once. Like many of you out there I have a full time job and a family as well, without full support of our members i will not be able to continue running the club. Unless things change GTi International will be our last stand

We could of kept Welderone company if you would of allowed non jetta members to park on the club stand. As you could see in the picture the plot was totally wasted!

Hello Peter, very sorry you where parked on your own.
A few member's of the JOC including myself attended and as i was informed that you would be there on your own we came to keep you company as it was your first show but we where informed by the couple next to you selling the picture's that you had gone on a walk about.
Hope you enjoyed your day anyway and i took quite a few photo's of your car. (Beautiful condition).

I'll try and get some pics uploaded in the next few days.
My day was great until some t**t in his camper van reversed into my 22,000 mile Mk2 Golf.
