The premier VW Event
for Southern England.
Gates Open to the Public from 0900hrs - Traders Access from 0800hrs This will be the 26th year of the event at Stonor Park. The house will be open on the Sunday afternoon. Admission to the house is included in the event admission ticket. Home of Lord and Lady Camoys and the Stonor family for over eight hundred years. Set in beautiful Chiltern Hills with commanding views of the surrounding deer park. House of considerable architectural interest - built from c1190 and developed over many centuries. Site of prehistoric stone circle - now recreated within the grounds.Family home containing many items of rare furniture, paintings, drawings, tapestries and sculptures from Britain, Europe and America.Medieval Catholic Chapel - used continuously throughout the years of Catholic repression.Still used for the celebration of Mass. Sanctuary for St Edmund Campion in 1581.

Visitors may be able to see the recently re-introduced bird of prey, the Red Kite, flying over the Park

Five miles north of Henley on Thames on the B480 and within easy reach of The M40 Motorway

Right peeps the gates open at 8.00 on Sunday you can get there for noon on sat and camp on the plot overnight. Our plot lies between pegs 74 and 76. All stand pass holders will need to enter the grounds via Whitepond gate which will be marked all pass holders

There was a note sent through to me that the A404M at maidenhead is going to be closed over the Stoner weekend between 8pm Sat and 9pm Sunday

Well I was there newbie to the Club and all I can say is thank you all for turning up . Thank you Ron for your text hope your ok after your mishap. Peter
