*26th September 2009* - 1st JOC Wedding!!!!

Well, as it's now 2009, I'm finally glad to announce that on Saturday 26th of September, Popeye and I will be getting married and we would like to invite some of our 'booty' friends to spend our special day with us!!
Obviously, we realise it will probably be a fair hike for the majority of you so thats why we've decided to just say it's an open invitation so if you would like to come, you're more than welcome.

The day's being held at The Holiday Inn Chester South, Wrexham Road, Chester just off the A55. As it's a Holiday Inn, there will be rooms available for people to book for the night, so good news, an event were you don't have to camp!!!!!!! We'll be checking over the next few days about the costs of the rooms so, as soon as we find out, either me or Popeye will let you all know. The weekend of the 26th is the Chester Races and with it being local to the hotel, it could get booked up fairly quickly so, once we have all the numbers, we will book the rooms all together and that way there won't be anyone left out.

We already have a few club members coming so, if you would like to come, pop your name on the list with the names below......

07jetta, Are you just trying to make Popeye harrass me even more!!!!?? I'm dreading him seeing those pictures!! He's already said that the wedding's going to be like a club meet and he wants a few pics of members and their cars!!!!!!! What am I letting myself in for!!??

Right peeps, there's good news and bad news.Good news is I've got the prices for the rooms, bad news is the actual price itself!As I mentioned in the first post, the 26th is the weekend of the Chester Races and cos've that you're looking at £100 per night bed and breakfast. And that is a reduced price aswell!! The rooms are usually £170 but cos we're having the wedding at the hotel and the rooms are for guests, they've managed to come up with a pre-paid price for us. The full amount has to also be paid on booking cos the price has been reduced. They've asked for the guests to book themselves so that all the booking details are correct. We realise that it is expensive and completely understand if none of you come but, for those who do want to come, let either me or Popeye know asap and we'll send you the phone number and details you'll need to make the booking. They've asked for the bookings to be made asap as the hotel gets fully booked for the races and they've already started taking reservations.     Thanks.

4 Months to go!!!!

I noticed on another thread someone (WIGGY!!!) mentioned something about turning it into a convoy.
I won't be needing a car as I'm hopefully getting ready at the hotel but Popeye still needs to get there!!!
Sort it out between yourselves just as long as he gets there on time!!

Is everything all sorted now. 4 months will fly by. All those shows to go to over the next few months and then you'll be there!!!
