mk2 Jetta, Westy front, now on RM's!

Thought it was about time i showed you all my new Jetta.
Was good to meet up with some of you at gti inters even though it was very brief!!! (also managed to stalk Reaver down the A14!)

first put the westmoreland setup on the front and had it on the banded steelies for a while;

then had a mad impulse buy and got some borbet A's, fitted them the day before inters;

totally jealous! 3 reasons.

1. polished borbets plus 9j's all round - you shall park nowhere near mine at events

2. rare westy front - i like alot

and 3. no cracked arches

love it tbh, it looks like it could go side ways round roundabouts

i will try make it to santa pod but its the sunday before i go off to mivw in holland so might be trying to save some pennies...

oh and my jetta is not worth putting on the strip! new engine is next on my wishlist!

the westmoreland front end was bought from a guy on edition38, luckily i didnt have to get one sent from america...still bloody expensive mind! (Worth it though )

got a stainless 4-branch exhaust manifold coming next week to complete the exhaust system (and to replace the cracked old one!)

Yeah I like it, front end looks great!

Looks really well this. G60 arches and another 60mm drop and it would be near perfection. The westy look brings a nice US vibe and Borbet are one of those classic rims that always looks better on a Jetta than a Golf. They look like a non standard finish too??

The tailpipes sit perfectly, something i've struggled with for a while.

im not entirely sure with the borbet's, they're just a bit too big for my liking, i wanna go lower but cant without serious arch work/tyre shredding! they are finished in powder coat chrome so not standard (and 2 of them need a refurb now )

Polished lips n CCd centres would rock!!

get the arches done also, then you can slam it, as it looks sick on the As!!

the borbets are now gone was a very hard decision but they were just too big for my liking!

the new wheels should be arriving very soon, watch this space!

yea 15x8 all round, will hopefully get the centres colour coded and the rear to 9" this winter
