Yey finally got another car sold my corsa bout 6 months ago and ive been savin up and lookin 4 a nice jetta mk2 but couldnt find any tidy 1s so i started lookin at the jettas older bro the vento and i found 1 in lancashire so went up 2 get it yesterday and its awesome.

i got a blank canvas 2 start euroing it (if thats a word)

If it were mine I'd keep the bumper lights, but then again its not mine! Do exactly what YOU want to it matey, no matter what anyone else thinks, thats the best advice I can give you (unless your gonna put a jap bumper on it, then you may get shot! )

no kits comin near my car funk that b4 this i had a kitted up corsa wot a pile of shoot lol and ye goes and drives well but 1st thing is a set of coilovers needs 2 be lower and stiffer haha and ye that how i am anyways i dnt give a shoot wot no1 thinks if i like it thats that lol most ppl at my work dnt like it o well they dnt kno wot a proper car is hahah

No sure,I think their used to be a link on the home page where you can put your engine code in and it can tell you everything you need to know.

no mines is manual thank funk haha and ive done my 1st change 2 the car and ive finnaly put my cd player in it after a week of radio lol yey som decent tunes 2moz en wooooooo

and ye cant wait till after xmas i get them wheels ( schmidt modern line ) 8" wide wiv 195/45/15 on it and i found this site shows u how much stretch u will have and its not ott but will look good tucked in2 bed behind the arches

Ye and i found out my vento 1.8 GL (adz engine) has 90 BHP and the other 1.8 engine they do not GL a different model has 75 BHP.

Thats a nice amount of stretch.. not too silly!
Ive got 15's on at the minute but ive gotta admit.. they look a little lost in the arches!! Saying that.. when i un-seize my N/S/F coilover, they go LOOWWW!

CAR OUT OF ACTION 4 TIME BEING ON MY WAY 2 WORK ON WEDNESDAY I SLID ACROSS THE ROAD ON THIS CORNER AND WHEELS LOCKED UP AND HIT THE KERB BENT MY BOTTOM ARM AND MAYBE THE DRIVE SHAFT AND THE WHEEL IS PROPA GOUGED LOL MORE OF A REASON 2 GET THE WHEELS I WANT HAHA

MY M8 HAS OREDED ME THE BOTTOM ARM AND WILL BE FITTING IT WEDNESDAY AND ONLY THEN WELL SEE IF THE DRIVE SHAFT IS BENT OR JUST COME OUT ??? I RELLY HOPE IT AINT BENT COZ WILL COST ME UP2 £100 4 1

I WAS MENT 2 BE GETTING MY COILOVERS THIS MONTH I DNT THINK THATS HAPPENING NOW IM GUTTED BUT ILL BE GETTING THE GRILL AND EYEBROW INSTEAD THIS MONTH BUT I HAVE ORDER MY 8 BALL GEAR KNOB YEY :D

sorry to hear about your "mishap"

you should soon have it sorted,

the driveshafts are usually bomb proof, if anything the inner cv joint will have become separated,

(just unclip the rubber gaiter & put the ball bearings back in,
re-pack with grease & cable tie the gaiter back on)

(it would take some collision to bend a vw driveshaft)

heres the damage i done 2 my poor car

and the wheel was pushed against the other side of the arch but we moved the car and the wheel isnt turned in the arch its bend like that and u can see the wheel isnt center in there
