My Bora 1.8T Sport Empty My Bora 1.8T Sport

Post by dubber31 Wed Jul 16, 2008 8:21 pm

Hey, just joined up and thought I would post up a few pics of the Bora. Hope you like Very Happy

How it all started
[You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]

Coilovers went on along with the RH ZW1's that had been sitting in the garage for a while (originally intended for my old Corrado Wink )
[You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]

Then they got refurbed with larger dishes out back making them 9.5" x 17"
[You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]

Picked up a genuine US boot from a guy that had brought his car over from the states. Had the front end done US style while the boot was getting painted
[You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]

Mk4 Recaro went in but can't find a pic Smile (you know what they look like!!)

Wheels got refurbed again with wider dishes up front making them 8.5" Also changed the colours again Rolling Eyes Very Happy

And this is pretty much how it stands at the moment

Picked up a trophy at Deva Dubs the other month and also got 3rd place Bora at M.I.V.W. at the weekend. Chuffed to bits, didn't ever think it would pick up a trophy Embarassed Usually go on our Club Stand Very Happy

Future plans, saving up for a re-trim and the wheels MAY be going
Thought about air-ride but don't have that sort of money!!! Although it would make life easier for where I have to drive!!

They where all silver and 8 x 17
Then 8 + 9.5 x 17 with the blue centres and polishes lips
Thennn 8.5 + 9.5 x 17 with the black centres and blue lips Embarassed Laughing

As I said, may be going as I have seen some 9.5 + 10 x 18's that I have been looking for. Just hope I get them Laughing

I went for the grey and black ones, got them cheap as the cloth on the side bolster on the drivers side is starting to wear through and I want to get a full re-trim when funds allow

Thanks for all the comments people Cool
