i was told by lowdownvw, that they went last year and camping was bad. although weather seems to be good for time being, they said last year the camping sites were all damp.

most of them pulled into a layby and just slept there. my suggestion is a b + b. i'll see what available when i have time. sorry guys - bit occupied lately.

Those of you on the club stand need to pre book your tickets by filling in the form at this link there is a drop down box on the second page to indicate that you will be on our stand again you must complete this part it is very important otherwise you wont recive your club pass and wont be allowed through the main car park ontho the stand

Is the list below correct please if your on this list simply indicate with a yes/no and which day if not both you will be attending

I called the Gliding Centre where the official camping is offered and they've put me onto the farm which was the campsite last year. I'm waiting for comfirmation of how many they can accomodate but the impression I got was positive based on 15 cars and 25ish people.

I know the ground was a little damp last year but the weather was partucularly damp. Personally I can't justify a B&B when I live little over an hour away so i'll progress the camping inquiry and if people want to have a group pitch, i'm sure we can sort something out.

Spoke to the farm who says we were more than welcome to camp for a bottle of Scotch, however they don't have any facilities to speak of. There is water but no toilets or showers so it depends what people are willing to accept. The pub isn't too far away and if you intend to arrive on the Saturday and just stay one night, from my point of view it ain't too bad.

Failing that, keeping looking for somewhere to accomodate us all. From speaking to the farmer, he said they're putting up 8 Inters people in B&B and the phone hasn't stopped ringing for the past 2 weeks with other people after accomodation so I suspect everywhere will be full.

I'm commiting to Sunday on the stand, payday is Monday so i'll order my ticket then. May do Saturday, see what passout I can get.
