Couple nights ago i got the hood sanded, primed and 3-4 coats of white paint.... A little blotchy but wet sanding and lacquer will cure it......

Re: 1992 Jetta GLI
white? is there a reason for such colour change?
since you got the bonnet done, you may as well get the whole car done not like theres anything wrong with the current red.

Re: 1992 Jetta GLI
Well....... I like the hoods of all my cars diff color than the car.... More my style i guess......My saturn was maroon with a blk hood...
I chose white because it's clean and smooth looking.... The rims are going to be coated white as well as the moon roof spoiler thing that pops up when the roof is open... I have decided to name it Project Candy Cane, because of the red and white...
I guess its just a personal pref... Over all i can picture it really clean looking...
