Post by chef Thu May 17, 2007 12:11 pm

As i've just stumbled upon this site via a link from the vw/audi forum,i guess it's an ideal opportunity to say hi and introduce myself, and the two latest arrivals in my life, one last Monday, and one last Friday. One needs head-gasket,brakes,suspension and some TT rims, all to be sorted in the next 2 weeks (though it's already looking better than the pics,de-badged,de-playboyed!?!,smoked side-repeaters,VR chin, black vw logos etc.),and the other needs lots of milk, nappies and sleep!!

How much is your Vento dropped by and is there any rubbing with those rims on?

Daz.......It's got a 60/40 supersprint cup-kit on,with the adjustable rears sat at about 50,and yes they do catch front and rear at the moment, though not by much,i've got top mounts and bearings to do on the front,so i'm going to sort them, then have a look at the arches.I've also got the black arches to go on,so they should give me plenty of room to play Smile

Andrew........congratulations fella cheers

Hey what's cookin' chef?
A fine example of a vento VR you have there.

For some reason I think a vento/Bora looks better on wide rims than a Golf.

Nice work Wink
