Hi all,

Been looking for a site like this for months and after plenty of searching on the VR6 owners club I've finally found one......
The owners club site is good (don't get me wrong) but it's mostly about golf's and I want to see some Vento's!!

I bought my Vento VR6 from another member actually (only realised he was a member yesterday and there is even a photo of it how I bought it - DazVR6)

Bought the Vento late last year (around September) after wanting one for years, in black too which is always a bonus!!

Since owning the car I have done the following:
New Full Closure Alarm (Fitted)
Black Diamond Combi Disc's & Predator Pads All Round (Fitted)
Strut Brace (Fitted)
BMC CDA Induction Kit (Fitted)
Eibach Lowering Springs 30mm (Fitted)

Have bought a pair of Recaro seats from a Mondeo ST220 and am currently in the process of having the runners etc adapted.

Also have bought but not had fitted:
De-Locked Handles To Replace Front Ones
Mk3 Golf Crystal Clear (Mk4 Style) Headlights
De-Badged Mk3 Grill
Sparco Ring Steering Wheel
German Style Number Plates

Next thing to buy is some 17" RS6 wheels, best deal I can find at the moment is £400 delivered with tyres, VW centre caps and locking wheels nuts from Rimstyle. If you know of anywhere what does a better deal, please let me know.

So the plan for the Vento is to get the wheels on and seats in then in for a full respray (still in black but am tempted to go for Cooper S gun-metal).
Whilst its in it will have the boot smoothed and all the trim (which I think looks better kept on) colour coded. Also needs some welding doing underneath as the rear foot spaces get damp and a new interior carpet in throughout. Then to a friend of the family's who is a trimmer and is going to re-trim seats, door cards etc in black leather and new roof lining in black cloth. Then the exhaust, but I have enough to sort out for now so I'll deal with that nearer the time.

Will Put Some Photo's Up Shortly As Soon As I Can Figure Out How To Do It....

Cheers,

Shaun drivin
