New Jetta, New member

hello everyone!!

I've just bought a mk2 jetta off ebay and should hopefully pick it up next week. I already own a 67 beetle that i'm restoring but its been a while since i had a VW wasser pumper!! I've owned several Golfs over the years and thought i'd try a jetta out for size. Its a white TX but i'm unsure what that really means thats why i'm here to learn.

Hi ya Nathan i think i know the white TX you speak of (ive been keeping an eye on the auction) the range was topped by the GTi and 16v from there you went GL > GX > TX > CL > C and so on yours is one of the more popular specs. In the early 90's just before the car came to its end they stopped the TX, pretty much all but a few, and used the GL GTi and GX as run out models Normaly the TX and GX were 1600 models

yeah all i've got to do now is get it from london up to lancashire! Would be ok if it had an mot. Looking at getting it transported up, which to be honest is gonna cost more than the car!! Anyone got any contacts fo someone who is cheap??
