my '16v aka the Jolf
some pics of my Jetta which has been nicknamed the Jolf by my mates

this grille has been replaced with a mesh one but i might go back

the interior.......no rear seats, carpets, soundproofing, rear door cards....

at santa pod running a 15.4441s at 89.28mph

and the spec.....
2.0 bottom end
ported and polished KR head
lightened and balanced flywheel
gas flowed inlet manifold
longer duration inlet cam
modified 8V exhaust manifold and full Jetex exhaust
2.0 throttle body and modified airbox
all giving 160 bhp
also.....
lowered on eibach suspension with uprated anti roll bars and polybushed throughout
G60 brakes up front and mk3 calipers at the back
plenty of plans for this i'll keep y'all updated

nice ride mate at the mo mine standard apart from abf head with kr cams ordered loads of bits for it tho

sounds good
mine's coming off the road for the winter. gonna replace the front wings and bonnet as they are dented, pop on some big bumpers and get it ready for a spray job. just gotta decide what colour.......

iv got to sort my rear panel out and respray it i was gonna go for a lairy euro colour

signal orange will look well cool. it's on my shortlist too. i reckon it would look awesome with the G60 steelies painted black

16s are nightmare to get good tyres for. I made that mistake and am now going for 15s. standard tyres are no problem, things like r888s don't come in a small enough side wall. It depends what you're planning, but is worth considering. nice car btw stripped is the way forward:-)

and yeah stick to 15" wheels i reckon. good for the handling, easy to get tyres for and look the best too i think
