My name is Martin from germany. I am 43 years old and have two Jetta´s (1981 Mk1 Li and Mk2 Jetta coach). 1988 i has buy my first Jetta (1980 Li) this car died 1989 
. My 2nd Jetta was Mk.1 GLS (1982) and the 3rd was Mk.1 Li (1981). Since 1988 the Jetta Mk 1 & 2 is my favorit hobby.

Wow Martin welcome to the JOC you sound like you sound like youve had abit of a love affair with the mk1 they are a lovely motor what engine is you current one?

Hello, my engine in the Mk.1 is the 1600cc EG (ex.110 hp) but without injection, i use Weber 40 DCOE. My Jetta 2 has only the 1600cc 75hp

My first mk 1 was the 1600 they drive like a dream shame theres not many left :-(
