My 1991 MK2 Jetta GTI

My MK2 1991 Jetta GTI, she's a bit rough around the edges still, not had much done to her as of yet but will hopefully be in the bodyshop this coming christmas to get her paint & styling sorted & she'll be sitting pretty again hopefully.
So far she's had;
Jetta front end put back on...bought her with a golf front end
Better gearbox & clutch as she ate the one she had & made a mess!
ATS Cups all round as she came on steels
New steering rack as was not exactly functioning correctly...or at all really & a few bits to engine
Little bit of welding...more to be done when she goes to bodyshop
Original steering wheel put back on as came with a sports one
Shiny pressed plates too


exhausts a bit loud but not my doing & she's desperate for a good respray & a good tidy up but she'll get there soon
I'm assuming she's been on here before as she has JOC stickers all over the windscreen if anyone knows anything??

that jetta was for sale on scottishvag about six months ago,I wanted it real bad . the car came from dunfermline!!!! so has made the trip south. I noticed the reg cause its close to mine but it was the green colour concept interiour that lets me know that its deffinatly the same car!!

yep that's the one, i saw it on pistonheads. Drove all the way to Edinburgh from Nottingham to meet the lad to fetch it in february it was a spur of the moment buy to be honest & yep it's the interior most people notice

My mum used to own this car a fair few years ago now, it was the car that got me so interested in Jettas (I bought one exactly the same model and colour 2 years ago) i actually cried when she sold it haha good to see it's still around

i still have the tax disc's from an owner in Runcorn she's still going strong 170,000 miles on the clock now just getting ready for a rebuild when she goes in for a re-spray etc.
