bugjmavet wantings a diesel vento...

Hi all, having sold my lowered golf (1.8 - bit thirsty!) a few weeks back i've been mulling over what next for a diesel vw for my commute to work, i considered a lupo, polo (salloons and estates are quite nice) and then got a thing for a vento! i was wondering if anyone has one for sale? it must be a diesel (hopefully not too many miles on it) and i dont mind if got a few marks as i wouldnt mind a little project to keep me busy as long as i can still use it daily at the same time! if it was lowered that would be a bonus too!

I'm thinking probably an originalish mk3 on my budget, does anyone know of anything for sale i might like? I'm in Bournemouth so if it wasn't a massive trek that would be great too but i'll come and get the right one from whereever it is!

ps. looking round here has given me plenty of inspiration for mine whenever i get it! thanks!

welcome, don't know if you've already tried but have a look on pistonheads and also have a look in the classifieds ads in the back of Golf+. Volks world, VW Driver etc

My mate was looking for a diesel vento not long long back he really struggled had to settle for a high miler in the end was quite pissed off but the cars not bad

thanks for the tips, have drawn a blank to far so am still hunting! Might have to go the way of Reaver's mate to some extent but would rather not. I'd be open to a mk3 golf wagon TDI too..
