Not got a Jetta

Hi guys, thought I'd join as I've always loved VW's and basically wondered what this place was all about.

Some of you may know me from the MK1 Golf OC as I'm on there quite a lot, if you don't then here's a pic of my MK1 Golf.

This is almost as I bought her barring the wheels which were Scala's

This is as she is now.

I've upgraded the suspension, totally updated the interior including seats, carpet, stereo, even down to the boot cards and carpet which match the seats. I've also changed the roof to a red mohair, fitted proper rear all reds and chrome side strips. The indicators are all clear and the headlights smoked and now in a single light grille and stainless steel exhaust. There's loads more and the wheels are about to change to R10s but as all mature Golfs it's an ongoing project.

Changing to US style plates now, not sure why really I just like them

Down to single smoked lights now and not crystal but classic glass, modern but still retro.

This is my second interior, I have upgraded it it all to Dove Grey Vinyl now throughout. The lower dash is now black too with gray gaiters and a Golf Ball gear knob.

These aren't the most up to date pics, I'll get some more up of the interior soon.

Cheers guys, I just thought that as we have so many Jetta owners on the MK1OC I thought I'd see what they were missing over on the 'Dark Side!

I have to say things are quiet around here. Is it the time of year, do things pick up during the show season?

Yeah it has become a little quiet of late but normally picks up during the show season ive been a little pre ocupied with my daughter of late so very little has been done in the way of updates but make yourself at home theres loads of guys on here full of info and very friendly
