Strong work Wondered what had happened to this. Have you bought it really recently or are you the guy who swapped a front red stripe bumper with me for my chrome stripe one?

Re: mk2 jetta coupe
she just bought it but probly off the guy your talking about as he had it for years it came with a chrome strip bumper but its the wrong one as the rears has two strips and the front just one so we will be on the hunt for one soon as well as new wings and doors as they both have more rust than is worth fixing
car probly wont be getting worked on much until my cars finished as thats talking up to much time at the mo
did buy some wheels though

they have now been dipped and in the process of polishing the lips up

Re: mk2 jetta coupe
i didnt do any of the work on it- i bought it as a shell and sold it in the same condition. It was the guys who bought it off me that did the welding and fitted the cage. Didnt you get it off them or has it been passed around again. At the time I sold it I needed money to go to my mates wedding in Oz, so needs must and all that. Ive always regretted it and would love one again in the future. It was even on sale on here at the time too

Re: mk2 jetta coupe
long over due update sadly not alots happened over the last 6 month as been mega busy with the house and a 101 other excuses
got the bay and floor sorted
new battery tray and the other side ( not sure what its called) new rear archs and 60,40 floding back seat mounts fitted smoothed bay and hydraulic clutch mounting point
[You must be registered and logged in to see this link.]
painted up the servo and master cylinder and poped them in along with the hyrdraulic clutch cylinder
[You must be registered and logged in to see this link.]
blasted and painted cast section of the hubs then redrilled my hubs and discs so can run 4x100 and 5x100 just need bearings pressed in then there ready for mounting
[You must be registered and logged in to see this link.]
almost finished blasting and painting up the running gear but photo buckets being a pain so will leave it there for today
