hi ya
i've been lurking for a bit so thought i might as well introduce myself
i'm Guy and this has been my daily drive for a little over a year now, when i got it it was a lowly 1.3 with yellow headlights and marker pen iron crosses

Edition weekend after a lot of fettling

and this is how it's looking now

the 1.3 lump soon made way for a 1.6TD that i've had a little play with (tuned the pump, wound up the boost, 3" straight through exhaust), i've also fitted rado front seat's, momo steering wheel, boost gauge, badeless grill, smoked crystal headlights, big bumper kit, HK coilovers, early GTI front brakes, probably a few more bits and bobs i've forgotten about.
well that's my car, not sure what else to say so good evening yall

Re: hi ya
thanks for the possitive comments
yeah there not venoms although they are very much like them, i only bought them as a cheap stop gap but they've grown on me now. i've started polishing the lip on one of them but lost interest very quickly, i need to find some motivation to finish them off.
the diesel conversion was easy as pie on mine but i used a TD engine rather than a TDI, tdi's use an ecu and in most cases have things like immobilizers ect to deal with so can be a pain to wire in. where as with the TD's it's just the live that used to go to the coil extended to the solenoid on top of the diesel pump and your done, every thing else is plug and play, and a simple push button circuit for the glow plugs. if you wanted to do it properly though you could just use the engine loom from a mk2 golf Td/GTD which is just plug and play but unfortunately i didn't get the loom with my conversion.
