VENTO MK3
Hi all, this is my 1995 vw vento 19tdi with 65hp<----very slow, anyway since i bought the car last august ive been spending a lot of time on it getting jobs done and still lots to do before edition38.
So ill start with the pics
[You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]
After buying the car i decided to buy some bits, first job new coilovers and since the back lights were cracked on the rear i got some clear ones from venom
[You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]
The lights were fitted first at the time it seemed to freshen the look up
[You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]
After the lights were fitted the coilovers were to be fitted,to which i discovered a problem with the near side wishbone
O/S WISHBONE (NORMAL)
[You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]
N/S WISHBONE (WTF?)
[You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]
Some muppet welded what was left of the bolt to the subframe
Found some rot too at the top of the A-piller on the N/S turns out it was a big hole
[You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]
Then some more on the N/S/R arch not too bad really for its age too
[You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]
Also the front wheel bearing was playing up so that got replaced
[You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]
So after sorting all that out i borrowed my mates g6o steelies for some pics
[You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]
Oh yeh i removed the towing gear too
more to follow soon....................

Re: VENTO MK3
Did you never have a MK3 Jetta / Vento in Argentina Mark? The only part they ever shared similar to the passat was the later grill surround and it was specific to the Vento but in the UK they sold really well. Vento looks like its comin on well buddy

Re: VENTO MK3
Looks good mate. You got any closer shots of your roof? G60 steels work well, i'm going to get some for my golf. Is your spoiler designed for a vento? Looks different to the one i had on my vr6.
