plans withing the next couple of months. respray the whole car n just general tidy up. gti interior, german plates. rear number plate tub more lows (less than 1" ground clearance at the mo but my aim is the get rid of all arch gap on the 13's) just need arches rolling 1st.

looks 314653217426598123564891723654192 times better imo
lowered even MORE now, now i can lean a penny against the splitter.
looking for a bigger engine to go into it. like a 1.6/1.8 carb. how easy is the swap? is it just a straight swap?
or do i need to change anything apart from the actual engine

Re: my 91 lx
Hello there buddy!! I might be able to help you on finding an engine! My friend has removed a carbed 1.8 from a mk1 cabriolet. Hes putting a 20v Turbo in his cabriolet (I know what a waste). Also this weekend alone I witnessed a mk2 8v GTi engine slot straight into a mk1 Golf. I cant see any reason why it wont just drop in obviously you'll need new accelerator/clutch cable. Was put up here for £200. If your interested message me and haggle a little if you want. And Ive driven this cabriolet and it went like stink!
Im sure one of the guys/girls on here will be able to correct me on the above if I am wrong.
