Hello you all !!

Hi guys, I havn't actually bought a Jetta yet but intend to purchase one in the next couple of weeks. The one I have my eye on is a 58 1.9 Tdi SE, its only done 1,612 miles. The only problem I hear, I havn't driven it yet, is that it can be quite noisy in the lower gears. What is the opinions do you have of this model. Should I go for another model ? This one just seemed a good bet for £11,495 bearing in mind that I have a part exchange, £6250 for the P/X. My budget is £12,000.

I currently have a 07 Suzuki Swift 1500 GLX 5 Door and the lads on the owners club described the Jetta 1.9 Tdi SE as a 'dog' of a car ! I think they need to take a closer look in their own back yard !! Whereas the Swift is a great drive the quality of the car leaves much to be desired.

What does the team think about 1.9 Tdi SE Jetta ?

i'm not hot on diesels but i reckon its good. plenty mpg and you can still play with tuning

buddy anyone driving a suzuki calling a vw a dog needs their head examining now dont get me wrong the suzuki aint a bad motor at all but the proof is in pudding as they say. Trust me drive the car and youll see what i mean when i say they are wrong. I just sold my old 1.9 pd bora and it was an awesome car the diesel isnt that noisey either i wouldnt say all i can say is test drive it bud youll see theyll all follow
