My ride - Vento VR6 (sold today)

Heres some pics of my Vento that I've just sold.

She was in a bad way due to sitting on a farm for over a year and the elements eating into the shell.

This was when I bought her

Due to being made redundant I had to sell the OZ Superleggera's then recieved some money so bought some new shoes for her

The N/S/F wing suffered a few weeks previously as the frony bolt holding the wishbone to the engine bed decided to vacate at 70mph throwing the wheel back into the wing

Sadly rust took its toll and she got sold as spares today

This is my daily driver for the minute

Loved the Vento and when I get sorted financially going to look for another, missing that silky but angry VR6 sound

is that errr.... and cavelier? can't pic it out coz it looks hard.

Erm yeah its a cavalier, its cheaper to fuel and insure and with this recession going on, its the only option I had(shrug shoulders)

Vento looked quite clean buddy you supprise me by saying it was so rusty where did the rot set in?

All the floor plan and sills. It didnt help that before I bought the car, it was sat on a farm in a field for over twelve months and, with the sills being jacked up on incorrectly and splitting the sill seams, the moisture and elements got inside and rusted the sill and floor from the inside out.

Was well gutted as I loved the car.

I am indeed. when I get it gonna spend a full weekend cleaning her from top to bottom and T-cutting her upto standard again.
She's only a 1300cc but contemplating engines but dont know what............ stay old school lump? Or either 1.8T 20V or VR6?
